- @Babyraincloud I tested them using the SWS-10 sniper and each round did like 6 dmg to a Nightbird. So yeah pretty useless.
They're pretty useless. They do so little damage to light vehicles. They could do with a buff.

And if it is indeed 6 dmg per shot, that's a lot considering the no skill aspect of hitting a large object like a vehicle with a sniper rifle.
I haven't tested, but my question is do they make it so you can shoot vehicle occupants easier? Can they pierce a hovercraft or attack heli window?

This ammo is not there to destroy vehicles, it is there to damage modules on the vehicles. Damaged tracks make a tank turn slower, a damaged turret also turns slower ect. ect.
I can understand they are not there to destroy vehicles, but at least hit the occupants. I use the LCMG right now and you're given 200 shots, that's just crap. Pathetic needs huge buff.
Also these armor piercing rounds should absolutely shred a nightbird, tiny choppers like this have like no armor. I was around them all the time in the army.
- @wrs7a0v9e1cb Well I mean the little bird and all the jets should should take damage from all firearms since they are made of aircraft aluminum and composite materials. Then again it should take less than 4-5 shots from a .50 cal machine-gun to kill a soldier also. Even one with body armor. Or 30mm cannon.

It happens, you just have to hit it. You can shoot the crews in all light vehicles, airplanes and helicopters, you just have to hit them.
But discussing balancing at the moment? The game is technically not ok. Just the fix against the rubber band.... that wasn't a fix, that was just a measure to mask the problem. The problem itself is still there with all its effects, you just don't see it as much anymore.
BF4 had similar problems back then, it took over a year to fix them. So in the best case BF 2042 is ok in a year... and until then the balancing is ok too...
