@MLJUCTLDR Version: Attack chopper pilot wants 2042 helis to be like the good old days of BF3 & 4 and do the the “circle of death” to massacre everyone and everything with impunity.
Even in the good old days, the attack chopper was never killing everything with impunity. It was still easy to take it down. Your statement is simply not true. And I had no issues with that in BF3 and 4, and wouldn't have a problem with it in BF2042. I'm not asking for the attack heli to be made overpowered. You would have to actually read my post to understand what I'm asking for, which is in short to balance it properly against it's opponents.
I do agree with your basic premise in that it is silly that a little scout chopper is arguably better than an attack helicopter at killing.

@MLJUCYes I read your entire long post and I understood your premise, however you could have made your point about BF2042 without mentioning BF3 or BF4, which had way OP attack choppers (according to my recollection, but I haven’t played those games in about a decade now).I played both of those games extensively, (BF4 less than a decade ago) and in especially BF4, attack choppers were not OP and were easily cut down by mobile AA tanks and Jets. They still had the power to have an impact on the battlefield though, and good pilots knew how to use cover and leave got areas when they had to. That didn't make them immune to attacks. The fact that in BF2042 there is no such thing as an automated base AA turret, meaning no more safe zone, makes this even more fair for all as the chopper can't simply go and hide at base when threatened.
My point is the attack chopper now is very underpowered and outmaneuvered by every other aerial vehicle in the game, and that's simply not doing the attack helicopter justice.
I do hope that DICE does take note of this thread and does something to improve it.
