Stealth helo players abused the crap out of their toy and ruined it for all attack helo players. No one to blame other than the helo mains. The way the stealth helos were used were a MAJOR issue in breakthrough and that is what got the helos removed

Not sure I agree here. Helos flying at ceiling and raining down on infantry is a common occurrence. I was just in a game. We had a jeep and a tank. The air ignored the armor, and just took out the infantry. Our armor ignored their armor, and just took out the infantry
The issue is, vehicles have a purpose in this game. Half the armor is infantry focused, but some is also air, and it ignores air. Air is armor focused, but ignores armor for infantry. Pilots are more worried about KD then winning. They ignore their purpose and farm. Ironically, in a game, it is the vehicles that usually determine the game
Watch how many pilots sit stationary and hold a zone. No moving, easily targeted by other vehicles. They dont even move. Armor sits in their starting zones raining fire on the nearest target, feeling safe because they know, air doesnt target them. Air just flys out of bounds and waits for the borg regen, then comes back and farms infantry.
JMHO, the fix
Vehicles meant to target other vehicles get their damage greatly reduced against infantry. Force them to target vehicles.
Remove Borg Regeneration from the game. This will rotate the vehicles faster, giving more up time to infantry and give more people opportunity to pilot a vehicle.
When a side controls a zone, have a resupply vehicle area in each zone. Take away unlimited ammo. This will prevent camping and just holding a mouse button (SOMETHING THAT HAPPENS EVERY GAME). It will also limit using shells to destroy 1 infantry because you have unlimited shells and you're more impressed with your KD ration then winning.
I know pilots will balk at these suggestions, but we all know why they will too. None of these break the game.
- Psubond3 years agoLegend@Padding_Ur_Stats i put past tense because i don't play conquest, i play breakthrough. they got rid of them in breakthrough so i don't even think about stealth anymore. good riddance
