Put attack helicopters and jets back into Breakthrough. I'm a Breakthrough only, infantry only player and i didn't need you deciding for me what experience would be better. BT was better with air support and an equal amount of tanks for both sides. I play 2042 Conquest now (a year & half later cause i quit playing after this decision) and i haven't stopped playing exclusively infantry. All you did was push me to CQ where the gunfights are not as intense as i remember them being on BT. You said to play CQ to pilot but i'm not a pilot. As an infantry centric player i came to 2042 for combined arms warfare (infantry, tanks, attack helis & jets) and i payed full price for specifically to play Breakthrough.
Looks like the majority consensus is put the air force back into BT but you haven't done anything with the feedback. You left BT as some COD knockoff for nearly two years now. As long as BT remains the way that it is i'll never play BT again and if you keep this "focus on ground warfare" philosophy nonsense for the next Battlefield Breakthrough i won't be supporting the next game.
Once again, I will try to put into perspective that Breakthrough is a "slice" of the Operations mode in BF1.
Operations spanned across multiple maps while Breakthrough is a single map mode.
Does that not mean that Breakthrough should be compromising on the scale of the warfare involved.
The removal of the attack aircraft in the 2042 Breakthrough has reduced it into Rush with capture zones instead of M-Coms
My suggestion is to put the attack aircraft back into the 2042 Breakthrough and also include as many Wildcats as you deem necessary per team to compensate.
PS: Back when the attack aircraft were removed from 2042 Breakthrough there were no LATVs with flack cannons or EBLC RAMs either. The ground forces have more tools for fighting back against the air than back then.
