Attack Helis still aren't worth flying after buffs

While experimenting with the helis and looking at the history of changes, I feel like so far the attack heli hasn't seen recovery after their fall from grace with the introduction of Stealth Helis ...

@BownrInSweatPanz The Nightbird is the best all around vehicle in the game. Its maneuverability makes the difference, so while it may not have powerful weapons it can nibble away at anything without getting killed. Sure a lucky 127mm will end it if it’s a little hurt (takes two hits otherwise). A decent pilot can clean up. A good pilot can do whatever they want with it. The attack helis are slow, in particular in acceleration. Nose down, dump the collective and driving to get away will usually result in a tank shell ending the run as it’s so slow. I’m no Ace but I know some and nobody can be bothered to take an attack helo if there are any other choices.

@ATFGunrBuff attack heli, nerf nightbird

If I fly the attack heli, I can survive UNTIL I come across the TOR (across the map) or the enemy nightbird with it's miniguns. It's 100% game over then.

  @Wargame_Enj0yer +1 on the Nightbird nerf. It has become the choice of TTV sweats lately.

  @Wargame_Enj0yeryes, nightbird is better in anti air than other heli's and jets because it has the best maneuverability, smallest hitbox and really strong miniguns that shred other aircraft, which is weird since even in the game itself it's listed as "soldier killer" and not as "vehicle killer",
  Attack heli's have been pretty disappointing in this game tbh, would like to see more firepower to compensate for it's lack of mobility

    OR? Howzabout we just eliminate the littlebird and the stealth helicopters altogether?
    Still no maps free from these pests.

It use to be a lot quicker and seemingly more agile. It wasn't OP in my opinion as I got T1 in season 1, 2+ players can make you want to stop flying all together if they play right. It's slow and clumsy now and generally not very fun to fly.

  @AuMordum Yeah attack helis should be faster more agile and have longer range IRL attack helis can fire rockets from 4 kilometers away.

    Perhaps their anti vehicle rockets could use extra velocity so they can more reliably hit fast vehicles

@ATFGunr gotta agree. the Nightbird can do anything with sub-par brain usage. it's miniguns tear infantry and aircraft apart, and it can just hover over tanks with AGMs all day. hell it can even snipe jets from halfway across the map, and even CATCH UP with them! their miniguns have such high range and accuracy that you're basically helpless unless you're lucky and snipe the pilot out of their seats

and stealth helis should never have gotten bombs in the first place. maybe cluster mines it can drop on infantry, but 4 massive bombs that tear tanks apart is just stupid
