Attack of the Elves - thoughts?
The festive season game mode which one side has an LMG and the other has a candy cane melee weapon. How you finding it?

Thats it for me then im uninstalling the game were i paid 100 € for and for what pfff 🤮🤮
- @Mulletguyy A for God's sake, it's a Portal mode, what difference does it make? So much to actually do to uninstall, and will only do it because of a themed mode outside of the "main" game which is totally optional
I see the drama queen's have arrived to announce their departure!
By the God's, it's a temporary mode for a bit of fun with a Christmas theme over the festive period.
To coin a phrase, if you don't like it, don't play it.
So, although I understand it's Christmas, there are many Battlefield fans that may not appreciate this particular mode. That's ok. My issue is the balance. 100 or so bullets vs. a candy cane doesn't really swing for me.
Now, wait for it, here me out..........LMG's with snowballls as bullets.
No, I'm being serious. Not for Portal, AOW or any other mode but this one in particular. A LMG that fires snowballs against these candycane wielding elves.
Dunno, thought this may have been the approach that should've been taken. maybe with a bit less damage and make it a more enjoyable experience

@Mulletguyy I'm one of those guys who think we need a huge military focus in this game and am against most cosmetics because of it. HOWEVER, this is an optional limited time portal mode so I'm good to go with this. We won't see Elves running around in AOW in July like we would if this was a permanent unlock.

I'm afraid of appearing Fortinite skins, but complaining about it in a temporary and thematic way? It's just a way to entertain- @lookcr The best thing for me is it's not forced in every Portal experience. You have to choose to play Attack of the Elves within Portal so I don't see the issue here whereas I saw a huge issue with Santa Boris being a permanent unlock for all modes.
If I could unlock both the santa and elves masks along with the candy cane shank. I could see myself playing this, but ehhh. Looks pretty one sided.
- @Mulletguyy It upsets you so much you're going to delete the game? Can't you just not play the mode? That is a choice.

Not tried this mode out yet, and probably won't due to time constraints and as I need to prioritise completing the weekly mission, but it sounds like it'd be fun for a couple of rounds.
I haven't tried it, but it can't be worse than "1942 vs 2042 conquest of ages" holy hell that mode is the worst dogsh*t idea ever.
The 2042 side has modern guns with no recoil, the 1942 side has weapons that seem to have the damageprofile of a paintball gun but still somehow has recoil that'll make you look at the sun if you full auto
