Auto aim again???

Please no anti air mine this time or make it damage 10 to 20 hp. Auto lock on's should be really weak because no skill to use.

Shooting before aiming should have a hip fire penalty.

Anti air missiles and AA vehicles should have damage drop off within a flag sector not couple of flags distance, this was a problem in BF3 and 4, anti air took up almost whole map.

Make aiming slower after jumping animation to get rid of those, they're annoying.

I want to enjoy this game but that ruined BF for me in the past.

  • @TwiztedMannix BF3 AA is a bit weaker than the BF4 AA. The guns take a tiny while to spin up. Lockons are annoying yes. But good AA drivers stick to cannons and rocket pods.

    You say good drivers but most stick to auto lock on's hahaha. For BF2042 I want those AA to be in the action, near objective not in their spawn overlooking half the map only. A flag area at least. Those cheap anti air mines just ruined bf4 for me, I'm not a Jet "main" but that cheapened it and damage should be reduced at least. I also hope there's a break system with a refresh timer in the new one cuz those jet dogfights got lame, looping got boring (BF3 was worst cuz client side hit detection.)

    There needs to be a balance. DICE can't make Helis and Jets OP. It would make it unplayable, also when you can steal vehicles in Battlefield 2042 again.

    There needs to be something that players can shoot Air Vehicles down easily So Air Vehicles will not dominate on all maps. 🙂
  • Decent lock on weapons should be part of the balancing, regarding mobile AA, the only annoying thing was that a lot of players just camped close to their base and ran away to their base when ground vehicles tried to attack them while controlling the whole air space in battlefield 4, mobile AA should have slightly less range so they are forced to come slightly forward and join the battlefield tbh..

  • Kind of the point for AA of any kind to take down aircraft, there shouldn't be a repeat of choppers reigning supreme unless one team is terrible just letting themselves be farmed. I will be that AA guy hunting down anyone in a jet or heli until they're dead.

    People say MAA runs away, but so do heli's just as much as soon as they take like 2 damage. Same goes for ground vehicles just how a lot of people play.

    MAA is terribly balanced on BFV with rockets and bombs annihilating you before the plane is even half health.

  • Just bring back 2142's EMP grenades and explosives. Sure, they don't have any armor damage or structure damage added to them, however, when it can knock out electronics and flight for 10 to 15 secs, that A) makes a flying object a falling meteor and B) land based objects either crash, stand still unable to fire, or gadgets unable to operate. It was amazing versus tanks/APCs/Mechs/Transports/turrets/shields/holos.

    When I first joined the thread, I thought the thread was going to be about aim assist in regards to small arms and not lock-on weapons that are a standard in even today's modern military, even in artillery.
