Ok so I went and watched the video. Most of his kills are less than 50m and the bigger majority are 30m or less. There were two around the 6 minute mark where he shot one guy that was around 70m away and it took 42 rounds. The next guy he shot the rest of his box of ammo (48 rounds) and didn't get the kill, so he's not "lasering" anyone and I didn't see a single kill that looked like it was 100m. If you notice all of the kills he shows are upper chest/headshots. He's good at shooting high on the player, so that helps. What also helps is that the enemy didn't seem to be dodging around very much. I kept expecting them to say AI after their name. Not putting him down, it's a good vid, but he named it that way and played it that way to get VIEWS. If he had named it "I played the Avancys today and it was run of the mill balanced" he wouldn't have gotten nearly as many views as "This thing is breaking the game"...
Again, go use the thing and then tell us how OP it is....
I think the gun is the best/most versatile LMG.
It is like the SFAR, probably a little too good compared to other guns in its class.
But in general, the weapon balancing in 2042 seems a little weird overall, a lot of the guns are mostly meh and only a few are really worth using. The Avancy is worth using.
I watched the video. The “broken” gun he’s talking about is the M16. 1:50 mark. It’s clickbait.
