Avancys LMG causes pure anarchy

Question

Decided to grind Tier 1 for Avancys since so many ~~tryhards~~ people are using it. And sweet lord is it busted. With 0 attachments and no muscle memory, I was able to beam players up to 100 meters without much effort. First two games I ended up getting over 60 kills each with little to no effort. Its like an AR but with 100 rounds.

Other LMGs don't have much going on compared to this monster.

LCMG has similar ROF with CQ ammo, only more recoil. Taking it further with a short barrel introduces too much recoil compared to Avancys. With standard issue barrel and ammo it slow ROF a big recoil kick.

PKP is an outright joke. High ROF, insane recoil even for m&k user EVEN with Warhawk compensator and standard issue ammo.

Haven't tried portal weapons, but standard AOW LMGs are useless compared to Avancys. They should either increase its recoil, or nerf ROF slightly to make it less effective at close range.

Now with the main attachments unlocked, I'm afraid to go into the match. I feel like a slimy no-life tryhard with this thing. Just makes it too easy, but fun👿 Can't imagine things I can do with 200 rounds and 1 v 64

@UP_LordPlumber&nbsp;I actually prefer the LCMG, with short barrel and standard ammo, but to each their own.I don't think any of the currently available weapons need any nerfs, it seems to be a running theme (with BF2042 in particular) that anytime a weapon is even marginally more effective than its counterparts that people start screaming "NERF!"If anything, some of the other weapons should probably be buffed, as quite a few have now been nerfed to the point of being next to useless.

@UP_LordPlumber The Avancys was a beast on release, and they nerfed it. Ironically the recoil bug kept it under control. I suspect that all the weapons will need a rebalance now due to fixing the recoil bug. I’ve noticed I die from it a LOT now lol, and I’ve T1d it already so moved on. Even nerfed it was still pretty good. They’ll likely need to add some recoil and spread back in now.

@Ironhead841 i didn't say LCMG is bad. Quite the opposite, its very good and perfectly balanced. Had a blast getting Tier 1 for it.

Problem is, Avancys is even better. Faster ROF compared to LCMG's CQ ammo, lower overall recoil and same 200 rounds. If you use a short barrel on LCMG to match the ROF, the recoil then becomes very high. Avancys with attachments has no recoil.

Making it "in between" LMG wouldn't hurt. Maybe increase base recoil a little and inrease ROF slightly. This will put it next to LCMG but with a little more base ROF and more recoil to make it a perfect CQB LMG.

@UP_LordPlumber&nbsp;The problem is they don't seem to do "slightly" very well, everything gets smashed with a nerf HAMMER.Just look what they have recently done with the Rorsch, that thing is now effectively useless garbage.

Haven't tried the Avancys yet.But I did try the XM8 recently and was blown away.&nbsp; Huge step up from the LCMG and PKP.&nbsp;&nbsp;Curious how the XM8 compares to the Avancys now.
