Ban forever for no reason and a month of ignoring the application.

Hello! I left an appeal on unreasonable blocking in the game bf 2042 on January 17. The status of my ticket has not changed - “in process”.
In 4 days it will be exactly one month, as I am waiting for any response from EA. Do I understand correctly that I will not get any answer?  Ticket number #200498866.
I realize that there is no point in writing here, but at least here I get an answer lol....

  • Hi

I'm sorry but there's nobody here who can directly help with bans or overturn them. Only EA's Terms of Service team can handle ban appeals I'm afraid.

It sounds like you've opened a case with EA Help, so I'd recommend using the link in the article below which will let you appeal to the ToS team:

    https://help.ea.com/en/help/account/information-about-locked-or-banned-or-suspended-accounts/#appealing-bans-suspensions

They usually respond via email with the outcome of the appeal within 10 working days (it can be longer).

  • I have literally the same, got banned for cheating when I never cheated, opened a case like the 24th and still no answers from anyone, no informations or anything lol

    Hi AlphaMaleBinks

If you haven't received a response to the appeal at your linked email address and there are no updates when you check 'My Ban History' on your account, it'd probably be worth opening a case with EA Help to see if they can give you an update about the status of the appeal.

N.B that EA Help could only provide an update as they don't handle ban appeals themselves.

  • The same happened to me, when they do get back to you they are just going to send you a generic response and a link to the TOS. Done with EA. I asked what was detected on my pc, no answer just "cheating" and closed case twice now. I will never trust a game from them again.

These scammers from EA did the same to me :) I am a scammer (played with bots, pumped up weapons). But which specific bot complained about my "fraudulent" game - I don't understand :) Therefore, EA stole money from me for the purchased copy of the game. I have proof of purchase. And EA banned me without any explanation - pure fraud, they don't even hide it

    Hi foln97

As I mentioned earlier, all you can do is to appeal again (https://help.ea.com/en/help/account/information-about-locked-or-banned-or-suspended-accounts/#appealing-bans-suspensions), but if the ToS team have evidence to support the ban then it will stay in place.

However, it is worth keeping in mind perhaps that there are more reasons for a ban being issued than for someone cheating (unlocking attachments for guns against bots isnt considered to be cheating, for example).
