@DiddlyDonkkinda childish to be throwing that big of fit about a 15 dollar subscription because of 1 game on the list of many. Id probably ban you aswell.
Honestly I wouldnt have done all what you did over 15 bucks. I got ea play pro for battlefield aswell. Yeah im not happy with the games current state either tho I know I can get my moneys worth from the other games so its not a big deal to me.

Then they should refund games that you bought individually. I totally understand policy of middle finger but closing accounts cause of "feelings" kind of is wrong, i understand if account is hacked or something. I'm not even sure if they're allowed to do so cause of that reason, especially with content that you own.

They probably would have refunded after a time and so.e back and forth emails. But a payment recall dispute is a hard line to take. At least from a business owners standpoint. I dont condone that practice, but it is basically a world wide standard, that if the client pulls the pin out of that grenade that they are written off. Still, I wonder how long the wait was before that pin was pulled, can't have been long.

I spent over two hours with two different support staff on live chat to be flat out refused a refund. I feel that was a sufficient attempt only part and ample opportunity for them to do the right thing.

The way EA has handled this refund stuff is absolutely disgusting. I rarely buy EA games because I really dont like them as a publisher and I like them even less from a moral point of view. The way they handle their sports games are downright criminal and predatory. I bought 2042 and I enjoy it but I cant help but feel like Ive been taken advantage of. Its partly my fault for actually believing that 2042 would be different but its not. Different game same EA. This will probably be the last EA game I buy for a very long time.

It was £90 for EA Play Pro. If it was the normal one I’d have let it go.

wow you have subscribed for a whole year? only to test BF2042? have you ever read the Terms of Service for EA play?
As I mentioned bevor and as quoted by xx-VoodooKing-xx if you chargeback they will lock your account because fraudulent behaviour.
With this £90 you could buy the game for itself on the origin store and easily refund it (in the given time frame)
Also, I think there are different ways to test BF2042
I think I have read somewhere that you could have subscribed to xBox Game Pass for 1 dollar (for one Month) which includes EA play which gives you 10h to test the game (more than enough time to test the game)
Yeah, I'm sorry that you lost your account but as I said before BF2042 has nothing to do with it.
EA play this is a service for many games and it seems that you hope that people are jumping on your bandwagon but i say no
The fault is clearly on your side, you subscribed to a subscription service for not one month but a whole year upfront, then you activated it by using it for several hours to test BF2012, again what where you expecting when you charge back your money?
In a Simple way > you have concluded a contract with EA for EA play pro, you used this service and with charging back your money you broke the contract.
Sorry mate but my compassion is limited here.- Trokey664 years agoSeasoned Ace
I bought one month for just over 3 quid and ensure auto renewal was off.
Just saying......
