My big feedback for the event is that it would be cool if it was visually distinct. One idea that would fit the tone: Night Map! Northern lights! I think that would look amazing, and feel great on Spearhead. (I'm no game dev, but could DICE just port over the skybox and lighting from Narvik Operations mode in BFV? That would be so cool.)
I'll be honest, as soon as I had the awards for the event done, I probably won't be playing too much more of it. It feels unfocused, and I've never seen a match where the Defenders win. I'm much more looking forward to the Breakthrough-esque, team-focused modes.
(I dearly miss Rush 128 Chaos, what a blast!)

I would love to play on a nighttime version of Spearhead or any other maps for that matter, it would add nice variety.- Ironhead8413 years agoHero
Well, it seems like at least some people are enjoying it, as I said I like it and will still jump in from time to time even though I have all the rewards already just for a change of pace.
- 3 years ago@Ironhead841 will maybe hop on tonight after work but I'm in Australia so this will be the main mode over here for the week so I know what my battlefield game time will be this weekend over Christmas whether I like it or not!
Looking forward to it, our small playerbase tends to have a better grasp on things so should be competitive.

i played 5 rounds today so far:
- played 4 rounds on defence back to back....
- played the same map because for some reason we can only have a mode in the franchise at the very least since BF2 on one map at a time.....
- finished the ribbon requirements in less then an hour actual game time i think..... didn't even realize it
- performance is better but that is 100% due to it being the superior 64-player size model.... (funny how that works out)
i don't know what the issue is but for some reason most players seem to struggle with the concept of conquest assault.... i just drove past the E-points and capped B, A1 and A2 while attacker and the enemy team only ever flipped B once back.... same happened in BFV back when Hamada was forced Conquest Assault.... it is just kinda strange to me. Even better you see the RAM vehicle drop its incerstion satalite behind E for some reason... like what was the thought process of the player there... "oh let me use this very useful gadget my vehicle has less then 50m from our deployment so people can parachute behind the enemy and be easy targets!"....
all in all 5/10 for this week....
