Concerned about the visibility
The maps look insanely huge. Really hope they're designed well so we dont need to run around for 5 minutes looking for someone to shoot, otherwise we'd be looking at Hamada or Battle Royale level camping.
Watching the gameplay all I get BF4 vibes and no BF1 and BFV vibes, which is excellent. I think my BF1, BFV, and BFH playtime combined doesn't come close to my BF4 playtime.
- 5 years ago@BaronVonGoon I share your visibility concern. All throughout the gameplay, the enemy seemed very hard to see.
- Trokey665 years agoSeasoned Ace@Forkbeard84 I was desperately trying to see enemies to see how easy to tell them from friendlies.
Only really 'saw' the one getting knifed......- 5 years ago
I chose to beleive they made that reveal a bit more tasty and less accurate than realgame will be.
My only concern is all the vehicles, I an infantryman so I really hope we get a lot of that too 🙂
In previous titles there were maps for all kinds of gameplay so I would think it was same deal here.

I really like the five minutes looking for someone to shoot thing. I just can’t stand maps like metro. It’s for people suffering from ADD probably.
we are all different, I guess everybody will get what they want. They will be concentrated areas where you can shoot five people in two seconds if you want to, fingers crossed. - 5 years ago
I totally agree with you. The ONE THING that frustrated me was that stupid tactical sprint. The player physics look like modern warfare. That just made me f'n worry mate.

I liked it!! A few things stood out to me:
- Seems a specialist will have a grapple hook much like that in TitanFall 2 or Pathfinder in Apex Legends. I think these specialists will be more fun than I thought.
- Ziplines!! That was so cool seeing players zip line from building to building...like in the old BF2 days.
- Heavy and I mean HEAVY vehicle presence. As many as 5 tanks in one of the scenes. Welcome back to Battlefield!!!

There wasn't enough to the trailer imo detail wise. It was a baby step above the reveal. Looking forward to less scripted footage and most the details I am most interested in is in-between spawns. Squad setup and options, loadout and specialists menus/details, etc... the "how" of everything. Weapon changes on the fly being shown was really the only thing in that vein we got to see.
