@Forkbeard84I was desperately trying to see enemies to see how easy to tell them from friendlies.
Only really 'saw' the one getting knifed......
Yeah I had the same experience. I could see the friendly team on the map with fairly apparent markers over them. But the enemy was just melted into the back ground.
Someone else said it. Where was the spotting capability?
About visibility, I just watched Levelcap’s video. He said Youtube’s compression of videos hurt the colors, meaning, it’s a bit hard for him to judge the graphics quality of BF2042 based on Youtube alone. So this means visibility in the launch trailer from today is no doubt also affected negatively by Youtube’s compression. That’s good to keep in mind, I think. I didn’t know Youtube compresses graphics quality too, I thought it was only audio that got compressed.

To me, BF2042 looks like a slightly futuristic BF4 with the usual “DICE gimmicks” added (weather, shootable grappling hook, on-the-fly changing of weapon attachments).

Weather looks like something which will get old real quick, like BFV’s Artillery bombardment + V-1 rocket.

Otherwise, yeah this looks like BF4 on steroids.
But I personally think BF4 is the best active BF-game, even with all its flaws (and it has many)...
Looking forward to this.
