Yeah I had really high hopes for Portal when it was first announced, and as you say there is so much untapped potential.

@KNlGHTMARE Portal does exactly as it's supposed to. Persistent servers and addition of Breakthrough were the icing on the cake. Even better that servers aren't limited in number due to being behind paywalls like outdated rental servers, people need to stop crying already (XP/progression restrictions happened due to noobs creating a million XP farm servers, it's really no surprise).

At the end of the day AOW Conquest and Breakthrough are king, as it always has been and should be.

As for memes, nothing beats "Don't be sad, this is just how it works out sometimes".

@KNlGHTMARE For this game to have had any chance of becoming even a "decent" game EA would've had to delay the entire launch by at least a year, if not even longer...
DICE bit off more than they could handle and tried too many "groundbreaking" features while gutting most franchise staples out of the game. To this day the game has abhorrently insulting vehicle balance, especially concerning the TOR tank, the "gunships" and the MAV but does DICE care? no of course they do not care since they can not sell skins to make up for the 100 million$ loss this game has caused so far.... And I do not understand people claiming this game ever had a chance to be anything but an embarrassment to the franchise and gaming in general. the only reason there are any players left is that COD somehow managed to be even worse and BF unique placement without a direct competitor
