It's close to 10AM PST and I was able to join a PS4 game (cross-play off) of Conquest AOW straight away. ....same with PS5 (again, cross-play off) in 128 Player Conquest. Pretty seamless actually.
VAst majority of BF players don't launch through Steam including pc players. So this data doesn't say anything.
