Today, I'd like to delve into a discussion of the ranking system in Battlefield 2042.
In my opinion the ranking system in Battlefield 3 undoubtedly surpasses that of Battlefield 2042, primarily due to its depth, sense of accomplishment, and clear end goal. Unlike the bland and uninspiring ranking system in Battlefield 2042, Battlefield 3's progression model is a masterclass in player engagement. One of the critical flaws of Battlefield 2042's ranking system is its lack of meaning or a genuine sense of accomplishment. Battlefield 2042 fails to provide players with a clear end goal to strive for, which can be demotivating for many. In Battlefield 3, reaching the maximum rank felt like a significant achievement, a testament to a player's dedication, skill, and perseverance. This clear end goal provided players with a sense of purpose and motivation to keep pushing themselves to the limit.
I'm very interested to hear other peoples opinions. As always they're no wrong answers. 😉Best regards, danisoff
I think a balance between BF3/4 and BF2 would be neat. But would probably lead to a lot of people quitting as the ranks get harder (and are just not an XP curve).
