@CountSero This is, and always was a BS reason for getting rid as the player base was always split for numerous self imposed or technical reasons.
Just look at the reception crossplay has got.

@Trokey66 i think alot of the problems that bf2042 has, is due to the community always wanting more and bigger and better. We don’t want paid dlc, we want crossplay, we want more players, bigger maps…. Look where it got us. And its also the fault of the game dev’s , they should’ve realised at some point enough is enough. 64 player conquest/breakthrough and 32 player rush/domination/teamdeathmatch is the sweet spot. That combined with well designed maps and all mechanics from previous titles and build upon them and you got yourself a smash hit.
I don’t understand how people that are paid and trained for this can get it so wrong… i’m just a simple casual gamer and its so clear for me whats wrong with this game.

- Trokey664 years agoSeasoned Ace@cornybbq2 A lot of truth in what you say but by the same token, the 'community' also wanted larger maps and more players.
As usual, many of the things being whinged about, were at some point, requested for by the 'community' so what do they do, they can't win.- 4 years ago@Trokey66 I agree, community wanted bigger maps, bigger game, because when you like something, you always want more. Even if bigger doesn't mean better, It's EA/Dice fault if they gave us * features. If they want to follow the community desires, they have to do it right, or not at all if they are not ready, or if the technology doesn't allow them to do so yet. Players wanted bigger scale, not just bigger empty maps.
