Every Battlefield game let you carry 3. You've always been able to blow up an entire vehicle solo with C5, and it's never been a problem. It takes multiple seconds to put them all down and to trigger the switch, during which you are open and vulnerable. Even McKay and Sundance. Them being able to rush to a vehicle is a problem with the specialists, not C5. A tank driver only needs some situational awareness and a gunner. The only people for which this is a real issue are people who want to solo operate a tank, especially those who just want to sit at the edge of a map and snipe.
C5 is already massively nerfed by reduced throwing distance and a much smaller lethal blast radius, making them primarily good against vehicles. And now that's been reduced as well.
If you stick to your guns and keep it at only 2, make them more effective against infantry again.
It seems this season is the one of unnecessary nerfs that primarily benefit selfish players.
Attached C4 to a jeep and ramming & exploding has always been a viable tactic, but it simple doesn't work in 2042.
I got a few C5 kills last night, but the lowered damage to vehicles even when direct attached makes it a strange nerf, considering how hard it is to get to a vehicle now, they are much faster to accelerate than previous battlefield games.

they nerfed jeep stuffing? since when?- Lady_One2 years agoNew Ace
@UP_HawxxeyeThey didn't. 38 damage per C4 (against a tank), same as throwing it by hand. If you detonate too early and there's distance, it will not 1shot the vehicle... Same as throwing it by hand.

I agree with the topic starter, this change is terrible, and, honestly, so far almost every change that was brought with Season 7 is terrible. The game lost its flow, it feels like crap, and nerfing of everything for some unknown reason is frustrating to no end.
