In past BF titles only 1 infantry class could solo destroy vehicles, and in most cases C5 or Dynamite was exclusive to only 1 class as well. BF 2042 had 3 classes being able to solo destroy vehicles, so limiting the C5 on 2 classes (Assault and Recon) takes away this. It emphasizes the anti-vehicle role of the engineer class more.
I abused it too, grapple hooking with Mackay onto a tank, 3 C5 and BOOM! Flying across the map with Sundance to land behind that camping vehicle, 3 C5 and BOOM! And whilst I had fun doing this I can live with this change as it brings back the traditional way of playing Battlefield. Is your team being bothered by a vehicle, switch to engineer and you still will be able to solo destroy that vehicle!
