@skates15 I may be wrong, but I thought that Portal was the 'love letter'. If I am right, then EA realised that 2042 was a significant departure from the Battlefield of old, and they needed a way to keep veteran players.

@Lancelot_du_Lac Oh, okay, thanks for the clarification. I had fun playing some custom games in portal and the old maps, but it's not enough to hold my attention. I'd rather have new maps that will be future classics.
