- Most maps have the issue with long traversal times, wide open areas with no cover. Orbital is probably the least problematic one.
- I also think the 64 player version of Breakthrough is better. You should also experiment with 50v50 for both Conquest and Breakthrough large. With the lower amount of players, is it possible to add more destructible environment? There is very little destruction in the game that actually affects the gameplay compared to previous Battlefield titles.
- To make transportation vehicles more meaningful, I think the vehicle categories should be expanded. Take out the Bolte and little bird out of the transpiration category. These are more for offensive purposes. Maybe combine the little bird with the attack heli and separate the jet to its own category. With lower player count (50v50) it may be possible to add more transportation vehicle spawns, like trucks and ATVs, to flags.
- Finally, the maps could use a "new" look as well, a more war torn look with trenches, destroyed vehicles, crumbling buildings.
I know you are asking feedback on maps, but:
- Please consider bringing back the class roles, with restricted weapon and gadget selection. I think the rock/paper/scissors gameplay was much more enjoyable with the classes rather than the new specialists.
- Consider converting/transferring the existing BF3/BC2 weapons and gadgets from portal to all out warfare.
- Add the BF3/BC2 maps to the 64 player conquest rotation in all out warfare.
- I think the movement system in BFV was the best the series has seen. Leaning, crouch sprinting, going prone in any direction, rolling to avoid fall damage, mantling when falling... bring these back please?
- Instead of disbanding a lobby after a match ends, add a map vote (BF1) and allow players to continue playing.
- Server browser would be great too
