* Which maps presently provide a poor opening experience because of the location of the Base Spawn?
Hourglass' base spawn for attackers on Breakthrough is very bad for the defenders. The vantage point the attackers have on the stadium makes defending that first phase practically impossible. I have yet to see it held for longer than 2-3 minutes by the defenders. I feel that the stadium should in fact have points that need to be captured. Not using the stadium as a close quarters section for the opening scene is a missed opportunity. The stadium section is very fun in conquest mode and that should echo in Breakthrough, I feel. That'd mean having the base spawn for attackers even further back, or perhaps the stadium could be the last section of the map for Breakthrough.
* How do you feel about the current balance between Infantry and Vehicles in Breakthrough?
In general, I'd like to see the vehicles cut down by at least half. There rarely seems to be a point when a vehicle is not around. They spawn in too quickly and the vehicle drops are too frequent. You kill one vehicle and another appears. I very much like 128 players, 64 players is just as fun, but I feel the maps need to be more focused (speaking specifically to Breakthrough as that's the main mode I play) and should harken back to BFBC2/BF3 and 4 Rush days.
* On which maps and Flags do you see the most immediate need for more line of sight blockers?
Breakaway could do with more blockers. There's far too much open space in the early and latter phases of the map on Breakthrough.
* Do you have specific areas on maps that currently stand out to you as lacking cover?
Almost all maps feel like they lack sufficient cover, but Hourglass and Kaleidoscope are the biggest culprits. We need much more cover and rubble. Some additional underground sections to circumnavigate the chaos above ground wouldn't go amiss either. Do away with the pristine, freshly cut flora found in Renewal. It doesn't feel the slightest bit war-torn. Everything is too clean.
