My suggestion for the maps would be add additional spawns at the beginning of the game, have gunless personnel transports when you capture a map, and show off you maps before releasing them.
1. Last time I played, before the match began (countdown=0 movement start) there is only one place to choose for spawn. Your location (the vehicles you come in on) is randomized. However, if you wait that extra second additional spawn points emerge. An example is Kaleidoscope on conquest 128. After the timer ends you are able to spawn on top of a building, a great way to start with a wingsuit. My alternative would be have 2-3 infantry only spawn points near the border into the map, and one closer to the vehicles where you could spawn into vehicles or fall back if you are getting pushed in. 2. I think the points should have more gunless personnel carriers. Currently the only vehicles that fit that bill are quad bikes and the pickup trucks. My suggestion would to add Jeeps, Humvees, those trucks with people in the back and the canopy, and other vehicles that an military would deploy. As for how to integrate them, have neutral points not have the vehicles and once the point is captured, flares appear on the ground and these vehicles are air dropped in. When the enemies take the point, start destroying unused vehicles and replace them with the respective teams' vehicle. (4 had a similar system but they would pop into existence instead of being "called in").
3. It sounds like you are changing a lot. Why not have a test server/ demo server where people can explore the maps. I am sure you all have good intentions, but as seen with every game ever released, players find unique ways to play the game. (see devs react to speedrunners for great examples).
