    @carsono311 Why do they concentrate on making enemies easier to spot?
    I don't see how that will help in distinguishing between friend and foe.
    And a red dot at 10m but not at 10.5m who thinks that is helpful?
    A 2 shades lighter Boris still will still look the same when you look at him from the D1-D2 tunnel at an exit against light.

    Maybe I should go back to dorito sniping in BF4 normal mode servers.

    @kregoraOnly answer I can think of is realism. IFF in combat is usually difficult, especially as range increases.  It is even more difficult when there is obscuring terrain and/or effective camouflage…

    @carsono311 You are right, that is why armies use uniforms, and people usually look different. At 10.5m without occlusion a soldier should be able to distinguish between friend and foe, usually because they use different uniforms and equipment. And if they look very similar, that is an exception, and not the rule like with BF2042 specialists.
