Just going to voice my frustration. I play BF2042 almost daily and am level s232. I am also a real veteran and a software developer in RL. Been playing since launch and between the cheating and the weapons adjustments that increased the imbalance, its getting really frustrating to play. People getting consistent headshots with SMGs at over 100 yards when I cant hit them near as frequently with a Marksman rifle and scope? SMGs should have about a 50 foot range. I have a couple of weapons that don't seem to hit anything with a couple of the attachments. They used to. I play Lis a lot and am really good at hits with the guided missile, however its not possible to take down anything with 2 missiles unless someone else damages it first. So all vehicles dominate and most of the time its nearly impossible. At least make 2 missiles take any vehicle down. LOL, my guided missile rate is probably still 50/50!Starting to look elsewhere. I have all the games and they all went the same way. Its like Dice/EA gave up on actually blocking cheaters. To be honest, Ill never truly be good at any game where the tactics you use go against the Rules of Engagement of real warfare and I'll never be better than middle of the pack in games where its a strategy to respawn and abandon team mates. That's a me problem and I can live with it. Also why I own zero COD games. But would be nice if there was some actual thought into keeping the game fun for all players. New players who don't cheat get frustrated and leave. Me, I spend more time coding that playing these days so where I spend my time in the future relies on quality game play time.

I don't think cheating is much of an issue in bf. There's probably a ton of the recoil macros, but actual hacks like aimbot / walls aren't really present in bf. I also think its by design the lis can't two tap all the armored vehicles. It's a war game, not a rambo game. I think it would also improve your score and skill to play with people on comms or play regularly with the same friends. One solid squad can run the whole map really.

Unless you are on the Asian servers I'm skeptical of any rampant cheating claims. I've played a lot and just haven't seen it.Lis probably shouldn't be able to solo tanks at range with just the G84.. Her speciality is anti-air and extreme range chip damage. You can still run her with G84 + C5 + AP under barrel nades if your goal is to solo tanks.

Countermeassures for those is also a tad too effective. Javelin takes time to get a lock - the slightest thing and you fail the lock. You launch javelin and smoke and javelin is fooled. Ok that was one countermeassure - but then you are also allowed to have this reactive armor (the green blinking thing). Here it should be you have to choose - you cannot have both. With recoils I hit 9/10 shots - with javelin I hit like 2/10. When hit the damage is way higher for javelin than recoils - but getting the lock you are sitting duck for snipers and others. Not even sure but the tank / vehicle do they know your location when you attempt the lock ?Choppers vs flares vs stingers. Here I think balance is fine except little bird and the stealth choppers. Little bird - way too fast it reloads the flares and minigun fires too long before overheating.Stealth chopper - again here both flares and stealth - should be you have to choose or at least should take time to switch from one mode to the other - here I attack launch flares and then - flip of a button instant into stealh mode - wrong ! I don't think cheating is much of an issue in bf. There's probably a ton of the recoil macros, but actual hacks like aimbot / walls aren't really present in bf. I also think its by design the lis can't two tap all the armored vehicles. It's a war game, not a rambo game. I think it would also improve your score and skill to play with people on comms or play regularly with the same friends. One solid squad can run the whole map really.

@Col_Larsen About stealth. It's most hardest helicopter to play with. You have to choose between flares or repair. Helicopter is made of paper and is as big as normal attack helicopter. Easy target for Liss and one shot.

All good comments. Thank you. I had just left playing where I couldn't even get locks with SOFLAM on a Heli. Spawn in and get immediately shot. Snipers running and one shot headshots. Impossible to control vehicles at all. For the last couple weeks its been a bit frustrating and I'm playing less and moving to other games. And several asked where I was, US east coast. Cybersecurity Software Developer. LOL, gives me a certain perspective on the world. Thanks for the insight guys!

What are your statements based on, on your feelings? And what do you think are the signs of an aimbot/wallhack? Maybe you're just playing in slow Conquest mode?
The game is full of cheaters and the anti-cheat does not work at all and is most likely absent.

If you are not able to identify a cheater or play only in Conquest mode, then this does not mean anything at all.
