With 456+ hours of playtime i think i am playing the game a lot and i am S066 lol and i have most weapons mastery 40 4 specialist and Nightbird and more than halfway into all other vehicles lolll
So yeah how are you doing in the game you dont play so far ?- @Blackidus Well every BF prior to BF3 i have played from 700h to 2000hours in BF2 lol
BF3 was good ish but was lacking a lot in terms of structure and teamplay for 64 players setup same mistake in BF4 but was broken beyong repair at launch and for a full year so i went back to planetside 2 .. then BF1 and V were world war BF wich didnt interest me that much even if they had some neat improovement in some aspect but still NO proper stucture to enhance large scale teamplay ...
I dont expect anyones to " Go " i find it totally impossible to grasp how someone would waste his or her time hating on a game forums about a game they dont intend to play and just want to see " burn " ?
Exemple : i dont like fortnite . will i go to fornite forums ? Hell no ..
Halo infinite had potential i was playing during betas and pre beta phase i gave feedback .. Microsoft just wanted to apease the Controlers players and kinda ruins the game once more for MKB players and made some very awefull balance choices in terms of TTK etc.. so when Halo 4 feel better than Infinite there is a problems ..
Halo is another franchise some want to prevent to evolve .. But the problem is BF has never been ever stagnant it as always shift and changed there is no real " gold standard " for BF because everyones pick different BF as gold standard .. for some its 1942 others BF2 others BFbc 2 others 2142 others BF3 others BF4 others BF1 others BFV .. so yeah you will never ever come to a status quo when it come to " what BF should be " ...
Thats said i know probably more about combines arms than a lot of peoples simply due to my age and experience with this type of games BF being one of them .. Its been my favorite type of game for a long time And one of my Favorite BF was 2142 Titanmode because it was original it was awesome to play and i would love to see this mode return for 2042 as it was teased in BF4 last DLC but never furfilled ... - @Stew360 Dude I dont care how much time you have played Battlefield games or any other games for that matter.
But since it really seems to matter so much to you here´s my resumé.
I have played Battlefield games since 2002 when it all started with Battlefield 1942 wich I also played competitive in a clan, whe where in the top 20´s out of 250 clans on clanbase at the time.
I also spent a lot of time modding that game, mostly creating maps for the Silent Heroes mod. After that i´ve played most Battlefield games except some console exclusives like BC1 and Modern Combat and also Hardline whas not my cup of tea so I never tried that either, but the rest ivé spent significant time playing.
I dont keep count on how many hours I spend in every game because I frankly dont care as long as i´m having fun and I dont care for braging how much gametime I have.
So do I know this franchise better than any other? No I dont, what I do know is that I love this franchise, it has been my go-to multiplayer game for 20 years. And I know that me as well as many other want not only this game to get as good as it can but also upcoming games after this. And that wont happend if we dont voice our oppinions.
And I do hope that if Dice and EA wants to know why their playebase is crumbling so that it wont happend for their next game. I would not be able to play this game for more than an hour per day. I remember playing the beta - I could not stand this game longer than 1-2 matches because it felt like chores and was not fun at all for me personally. With Battlefield 1 and 5 I was able to enjoy longer sessions.
Same for my friends - when I hang out on TeamSpeak with them to have a chat they are always disappointed and angry at the game. Even our clan leader who defended DICE all the time in the past and who has played older games for multiple thousand hours is done. There is simply nothing to defend - it is not about the bugs for the most part but rather for the poor decisions that were made.
Even going free to play cannot save this game because players will not stay with this title. What sucks for long enough, finally becomes free to play. No matter how much money they will pump into the game, it will always be a disaster with a bad reputation. After year 1 which will drip feed lame content mainly consisting of skins that are already finished and just held back the game is over and support will end.

If it was true then you should love BF2042 because its the most compleat combine arms BF they ever made and the scale and dynamic weather system is something a lot of peoples have been asking for ..
Am i a fan of corny skins or one liners ? Hell no
But do i think now that i have given the game a shot that the granularity of loadouts , plus system and specialist give us some level of predictability as well as freedom to setup ours soldiers for X and Y situation while remaining usefull to the squad /team ? Hell yeah
There is no " next game " in the work .. BF2042 is not even in its first season .. they took tons of ressources to remake 6 maps from past BF .. Remakes like 30+ vehilces from past games and dozens of weapons and gadjets etc.. to " please " the purist of the classe system ,... Even gave moddable tools etc.. And yet these peoples ignore they did that for them .. And complain about the base game and medals and progressions lol
BF2 had no freaking progression per say no camo no nothing we were playing for FUN mostly .. While progression had some stuff to grind for .. Those who are " purist " should they be into that when they actually only care about past games ? thats a problem
DIce as never ever released a BF game with this much content at launch when you consider all modes possible all maps all playable spaces all weapons all vehicles from the whole game wich mean AOW , Hazardzone and Portal .. yet peoples say the game lacks contents lol I just cant beleive what i am hearing and seeing .. the Dishonesty of this so call comunity is to an extreme i have never seen ever in my whole life ..
Oh yeah just like they said Nomansky was dead right ? hahaAfter bullying murray , spitting in his face .. yet he ignored them kept working on his game and followed his vision and look at the game now 😉

There is zero reasons that could make anyones beleive you stay on these forums to improove the game .. I havnt seen a single positive post .. And always wishing the game will burn to " proove some nergative feelings right " isnt healthy either .. I would say take a break and come back in 1 years from now and see how its going mate its the best advice i can give !I've learnt to just ignore him and the other trolls.
Whenever I read through a thread and I see the usual suspects names I just scroll past their posts without reading them. They don't have one original thought to share so it's better to not give them the time of day.

- @Stew360 Weather systems we have had since Battlefield 4, what are you on about? Scripted or Dynamic does not make any difference for the average player. And no, I dont love it. But I do know I can if they do some really good rework of the core gameplay.
If they bring back the core rock-paper-scissors gameplay that classes brought in previous game and rework the maps we are well on the way.
The "unlocked" loadouts sure sound good and fun on paper but it does not work in a Battlefield game.
"No next game"? Are you serious? They allready stated that 2042 whas the stepping stone for the next game to be more "hero shoother" oriented.
Do you really think that game designers and concept designer just sit around doing nothing until the next game? The Pre-production and concept for the next game probably started before 2042 whas even revealed, tha´ts how game development works.
