The principles are very much as we know them well from the custom servers in the BF4 environment. Here we could also set a wealth of parameters exactly as we may wanted. But a few of them if set to more unusual/extreme values would then turn off the ranked status, as some parameters that can be adjusted are making the gameplay very very different in terms of Time To Kill, by aka adjusting values as Soldier Health, Bullet Damage Multiplier, etc. Essentially you can set up a server so even just a single bullet from even the weakest weapon in the game will be a One-Hit-Kill, even if just hitting the enemy in the foot.
Needless to say if setting up a solo player server like this, with aka all the AI Bots with extreme low health and 500% bullet damage multiplier would be an XP Booster with extreme effect! So some parameters in the Portal has some specific ranges that are not allowed to be passed if you want your server to remain a ranked server. A status tag indicates clearly is a server is ranked or not, so both the server owner/editor and also the players will easily see if this is the case or not. Expect also this to be an available search criteria for our server browser. 👍
