Jets are not able to kill infantry, so no infantry does not need better Stinger. As for helicopters, Bad Company 2 had it figured out with the Sniper being able to tag enemy helos with the tracer dart. (see https://battlefield.fandom.com/wiki/Tracer_Dart_Gun#Battlefield:_Bad_Company_2) . If infantry gets better stinger, it's only fair for jets to get rocket pods.
@1i1il1 I beg to differ. I’ve been killed on the ground many times by jets.
