Come back to it after a long time away. Games are horribly unbalanced, it looks ugly, no hard-core mode, only 6 available portal servers, sent to empty games with crossplay off, epic load times.... worst BF I've ever played.

Downloading BF1 and 5 again, they were good, just hope they're not empty. May be living in the past, but apparently the future sucks.

To be clear, the game has been essentially dead with crossplay off since launch on current-gem [PS5/XSX/PC]. Beyond that is dependent on your region and playing with crossplay on. Many regions have been dead since a few months after launch (as they'd get posted here fairly commonly that there's no games to join).
In UK and on PS4.
To be fair it was always pretty garbage but stuck with it way back when coz dunno!
If it wasn't for portal it would have been a total bust.
Anyhoo, would be good to try BF1 and V again, they were brilliant, will soon see if there are still any players left.
You'll find more players playing BFV so enjoy the time off from this game.
