"EA is reportedly very disappointed with how Battlefield 2042 has performed and is "looking at all the options" when it comes to the title, this is including looking at Free to Play in some capacity."
The game should have been published as Free Early Access for at least 12 months. The shitstorm of criticism would probably still have happened, but at least it would not be coming from paid customers seeking refunds.

Last I read he was consulting with lawyers.
Now in regards to free play I’m sure it’s the 3 day variety that most games offer now and then and was already offered for this game.
I also do not see and refunds coming either.
