I'm a battlefield vet been playing since 2042 and it is my favorite series. I'm a diehard Battlefield 4 fan, the helicopter controls on BF4 were amazing, you could fly around and shoot and feel every movement. If they could copy the exact controls from BF4 to BF2042 for helicopters I would be happier. I play this series strictly for flying helicopters. The controls on BF2042 are so terrible, almost badder than those on BF Hardline. Please replicate helicopter controls from BF4 to BF2042. I feel like I'm flying a tank on BF2042, can't even adjust my settings to get the proper YAW on my controller. It's completely opposite what it would be on BF4. PLEASE FIX with next update!

@BluntBlowinBaby I reinstalled BF4 last night after not playing BF2042 since before Christmas, and instantly I feel the difference. All aspects of the gameplay are far superior on BF4, especially the air vehicles. The jets and the choppers feel like they have weight to them on BF4 compared to the floaty feel of the air vehicles on BF2042. On BF2402, they made the air vehicles so simplistic in its physics and controls that they essentially "dumbed" down that aspect of gameplay. Whereas you need skill to fly air vehicles in BF4. I'm actually enjoying being in the jets again.I know BF2042 is a whole new game but they should have just copy and pasted the air vehicle physics and controls from BF4 since BF4 is superb when it comes to air vehicles controls and physics.Get back on BF4, dude. It's the only way to fly.

@trip1ex Battlefield 4 is the golden example/template of how good all the controls used to be for a game. Heck you could fine tune your hipfire crosshair by size color and even how how transparent. Battlefield4 always has been the King of Battlefield games. Been downhill ever since.

I dislike that you have to be practically 90 degrees to gain any sort of momentum.

Cant figure out how vehicule especially air vehicule finish to be set dat way.
I cant imagine all DICE people around a table saying: OK, listen folks! We will not set the joystick controller option and the air vehicule will now be floaty af. AND, we will remove the tv missile for the gunner.

Floaty vs heavy weight YES! I still play BF4 actually strictly to get my fix of flying in. But sure do wish it was the same in BF2042.

They should have copy and pasted it as you mentioned....frustrating

@THC_Polusse oh how much I miss the TV missile in the gunner seat! Yes, they sure screwed up but it is fixable! Fingers crossed....!

I don't know. IF you want them exactly like BF4 go play BF4.
They are more floaty here but very well could be by design to give momentum to the flying and not let them turn on rails so much. A nerf/balance decision of sorts.

@trip1ex Not even about how floaty but we don't even have the option to map controls to make it similar to BF4.

Previous Battlefield's had "veteran" controls for previous Battlefield titles for on foot, ground vehicles, air vehicles etc

This is an easy fix and something that should have been implemented with the launch of the game.

I have been playing BF4 for this reason but still hoping they fix 2042 so I can come back and play that.
