@ZRuff46 2042 is more like bf4 infantry combat than bf1 or bfv.
Bf4 was faster paced and more hectic. I like the infantry play right now. I also think they made movement speed faster because of the larger maps.
The only change I might suggest is a longer penalty for coming out of tactical Sprint.

@SpudBug I'm sure because I couldn't imagine running across these maps with the sprint speed of bfv. By the time you got to an objective, the game would be over. I still don't think bf4 was this fast.
- 3 years ago@ZRuff46 Its hard to please everyone. Bf1 had a fast slide that infantry could use to move around corners in the beta and it was removed. Many people were upset that the movement was simplified.
I like infantry having some complex movement mechanics so that they aren't always only running or crouching. But it's not the same for everyone- Adamonic3 years agoLegend
My only issue is with high RoF weapons which exceed the 45Hz tick rate. That bundles shots together and causes you to be killed behind cover and feel like you are one shot.
