@🤭SerendipityOo I share Your pain. I have alone in BF4 1.5k hours. Not to mention that I have been by the series since 2005 not only playing but had been running admin tools in the background or modding the game in BF2 on the server-side.
Mouse tracking is completely wrecked in the game. No Kills and Deaths in a Scoreboard that is not even present is pretty self-explanatory in the FPS genre. Forget about TEAMWORK points in BF2042. No information under TAB about PING or other players' latency. We are talking about first person shooter, right?
No global chat, so players may grief exclusively on AI after getting into the game finally in their team chat.
No server browser, no rental servers, no communities, barren world in the same manner as the maps.
A huge letdown is a too polite expression for the current mess that won`t be solved in many departments.

- Twordy4 years agoSeasoned Ace@alucardgr Next modern BF doesn`t have to be the same. BF3 is not the same as in many aspects BF4.
The game flow and map design are completely different than in BF2042.
What the next BF needs to be a success are maps built in a similar manner as in BF2 and 3. Limited verticalities and scale when it comes to maps as possible, so the game flow is more consistent with previous titles. No cringe-worthy elements, serious tone keeping players in suspense like in a good thriller. Another and very important "feature" as they say is a Server Browser and the possibility to rent a server. Without it, players will continue to play on AI and create only exploitative XP farms. Clans and smaller communities won`t have any incentive to stay longer in-game or even are being forced to abandon the franchise because of Devs' "woke and easy dollar" decisions. Groups of players with 4+ members have nothing to anticipate with the current Lobby and matchmaking system. Players would like to have a choice whether to play constantly on the same map or with 3000 tickets and so on. Also, I`m not a lone wolf and the option to have 5 or 6 players in Squad is highly desirable (spawns on squad leader, second leader, and additional spawn beacons would be enough to balance the game potentially). Without classes, Conquest feels like a "Free for All" game mode. VoIP is necessary especially in experimental game modes like Hazard Zone. Scoreboard that shows K/D and top 20 players on each side, possibly scrollable in menus - BF is a first person shooter for the Love of God. There is a lot to build upon previous Battlefields, but the "suits" don`t see it that way.
That would be my wishlist.
