@Trokey66 Yes, but even then it was pointed out that this point of view would probably change after the release of the next BF.

@UP_SunnyTheWolfIt is said after every release and will continue to be the same going forward.....
I seem to remember BF1 getting similar treatment because of the theme, female Russians and black Germans.And this is before we get into Behemoths and elites!
- 3 years ago@Trokey66 To be fair, if 2042 had clan/platoon support and a way to host a persistent server for our community, I could accept the game for what it is and play it - as it is now I haven't played it since before Christmas, and I likely won't in the near future.
I couldn't care less about stuff like female models etc of past releases and I could even accept the absence of the "legacy functions" and existence of the new specialist system if only there was community support in and around the game.- RayD_O13 years agoHero

It's a far cry from BF's of the past. The absence of persistent servers / server browser have killed of any hopes for clans / platoons which in turn will kill the game off.
