Bigger Squads - Conversations
Does anyone else wish Squads were bigger than 4 people?
Especially considering the size of teams in this game, finding any friends who couldn't fit into your squad will be a nightmare.

Would rather them making it custom. So squad leader could pick a size of 3 - 8 for the team. Then if you are 6 people playing you could play six together.. or if it's the 3 of you. 3 player squad.
Would also help to reinforce a squad to a larger size if needed to hold an objective,
Such Ui was in the older battlefield. can't see why it couldn't be used now?
They should have 6 or 7 man squads. 4 is too little for 64 players. Smaller game modes it should change to 5 or 4 like Dom and tdm.
- @ENI232 BF2042 on PC , PS5 and XBSX will be 128 players not 64 and indeed 4 players was already to low for 32 vs 32 matchs ... So 64 vs 64 with only 4 players will be ridiculous ... We need 8 to 16 players lobby , 8 players squad , 16 players platoon and fireteam of 4 inside squads of 8 .. Players can only respawn on their fireteam team mates but still see their other squads members as another shade of green and have a push to talk option to communicate with them... Squad leader and platoon leaders have a dedicated command chats
- @Bluehydrax Nice to see this is a hot topic. I would really love the idea squads up to 8 people. It would be nice if someone from Dice could explain their choice.. maybe we are missing something...
8v8 squad battles would be great 👍. With double the server size having 8 per squad isn't too large. It's 128 people and not 64 anymore.

totally agree with your thoughts on the Squad Leader having the option to increase the Squad size as needed.
At least EA needs to add to the Party size in order to play with friends and get on the same server.
From there you could make 2 Squads. I think a lot of Clan players are in a voice chat and want to play together.Given that you can only get 4 people into a server, squad size seems a bit irrelevant now.....
