Bloom post-patch
Bloom is still causing weapons to miss randomly. I cannot stand this function. I played a ton of Rainbow Six and love that I can hit what I'm aiming at. If I miss, I review my video and often find my...
The big spread fix will happen in the large December patch iirc
Bloom was part of the issue but apparently there are several problems acting on gunplay.
Personally been playing Halo Infinite while waiting on the big December patch that supposedly touches on those problems. Probably better to save yourself the frustration and wait until then to play.
@TTZ_DipsyFor reference, here are the patch notes - https://www.ea.com/games/battlefield/battlefield-2042/news/battlefield-2042-update-notes-2
First note on the list - "Bullet spread has been reduced on all weapons except Shotguns. This should result in better accuracy during gameplay"
And going by the contents of the list and number of changes, SOMETHING should have a noticeable difference between launch and post-update. I'm not sure how it was on PC and next gen consoles, but I could not tell a difference on the PS4. I just gave up and went back to Battlefield 5 where it *mostly* works properly.

@MarkedByAshesI agree. I’m not seeing much difference at all. This bloom system just needs to go.
Yes this is just a game, but in real life even the best shooters can’t put multiple rounds in the same spot due to a multitude of factors - so in that way modeling random deviations to bullet flight is a little touch of realism.
