Vehicles self repair should go. While playing Lis, I hit a MAV with 6 missiles. The problem is the vehicle regen was faster then my missile regen. So the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th missile, plus distance of fire, did less damage then the Borg Regeneration technology.I have no issue with people who have repair kits, or the vehicle kit. 6 missiles is a bit much to live through, dont you think?FYI the 7th missile from a 2nd party destroyed the vehicle and I got an assist for 1 kill.

@Padding_Ur_Stats The Lis missile damage is too low and reload too long to ever be able to take out heavy armor by yourself. Really you shouldn’t be able to take out a tank solo, it should take a minor level of teamwork to do it. The life cycle of armor when Lis first released was measured in single digit minutes as everybody had a darn rocket. It’s been leveling off as players revert back to their preferences. If you shooting rockets makes the armor back off, pop smoke and run, you’ve done your job IMO. What you’re hoping for would end any usefulness to armor at all, and make it no fun to play that at all. That’s great for you if you hate vehicles, but this is a combined arms game and you can’t nerf everything into oblivion to suit your play style. Not all of the 120 players left in the game want what you want.

People need to stop thinking they should be able to solo kill vehicles in a short amount of time.While I agree that transport vehicles like condor/hind and to some extent Mav is too dominant in this game, still 1 Lis should not be able to solo kill one with her two easy mode rockets. Some team work should be required or some risk need to be taken. Not just stand out of vehicles sight and shoot a missile that the vehicle cant counter other than hope that lis has bad aim.

are you sure somebody wasnt repairing the MAV also? anyway, you have a specialist with a rocket cd ability and now think you should solo heavy armor in two shots? unless you have c5 or landmines equipped, you need to come to terms with the fact you arent going to solo heavy armor. You claim this mav lived through 6 missiles, but with that cool down time of course its gonna regen lol and why wouldnt it, that had to be like a 5 min fight!! you expect me to believe if 6 people shot this mav at the same time it wouldnt have been destroyed instantly? if this guy was such a threat and you were the only one trying to take him out, blame your teamates, not vehicle regen.

@Padding_Ur_Stats I'm gonna give ya a little free friendly advice, I don't read a lot of your posts because of your excessive use of the colored fonts.Mixing up the red, blue and black text makes for a tough read and kinda gives me a headache.

@Padding_Ur_Stats Please don't use today's real life stuff to a video game. This isn't Mil-Sim. You think it would be any fun at all if one guy standing in a bush could take you out in one shot? Your post would then be, "Why am I getting one shot it's a tank FFS?" This also isn't Call of Duty. It's not designed to be a run and gun, bunny hop, high kill/KDR loner duel. It's objective based. It's always been designed to be a team event. Can you take out a tank alone? Sure with some determination, but you aren't going to take it down every time alone. Sometimes you're the bug and sometimes you're the windshield. Most often you're going to be the windshield if the tank driver/team is paying attention. Why? Because it's always been a team game. That's why there are classes. That's why you can't carry rockets AND a resupply. Just because you can't kill someone alone every time you try doesn't make it bad, borg or otherwise. Now if a determined squad couldn't readily handle it, I'll call it bad.

@Padding_Ur_StatsI agree to an extent, Transport Vehicles should not have "self repair", they already have the luxury of teammates being able to spawn on them, whom may have repair tools as you said.

Not sure I agree with your assessment. It still takes numerous rockets and Lis only carries two. Lis makes ground more vulnerable, I totally agree. But the guided missiles have little dexterity. Essentially, ground can no longer just sit in the open and unload unlimited ammo. They must make some effort to survive, which is as it should be. I still see armor sitting in starting areas unloading on zones, so Lis's threat isn't all that much.

Lis is almost useless against air. They only way you hit is if they are hovering.

@Padding_Ur_StatsI've run into that before with the MAV specifically. I never use it, so I don't really understand how it works to be honest. Does it have the self repair like tanks and helis? You can't repair it from inside like the transport heli, can you?

I'm okay with the self repair, especially over time health regeneration. It can be tedious to keep driving back to a repair station like in BFV. I did like that system though.

The problem is balancing. How fast and how much can something be repaired. I don't like how the transport heli can be repaired by a passenger. I think that doesn't make any sense, but again it's mainly an issue of the game being balanced?

@Padding_Ur_Stats I agree with a lot of what you’re saying, the cool down on Lis could use a tweak maybe. Ultimately one person should not be able to take out a tank or a MAV, not with rockets anyways. What’s the point of a giant steel beast if it can get taken out by tiny rockets? They’re tough on choppers too, they’ve adapted their flying style. Both can be taken out by swarms of TV missiles or combined rockets so there are options. Is it a perfect balance? No… but what in this game is?

I'd be in support of some form of attrition/limits on self repair. Perhaps only being able to repair 80% of damage received, or a 300% self repair cap.
Landing some hits on vehicles only to have them retreat and return 40seconds later like nothing happened while I'm now out of ammo is a bit frustrating.

@AngrySquid270 kinda like getting some hits on a bunny hopping lis, that finds cover just to drop a medpack, and try to blow up your tank again? with a dozen players with recoilless rockets and another handfull of lis , LAND vehicles cant really retreat and return, SOMETIMES sure, but most maps dont have that much cover for them. Aircraft, sure, fast, dodgy, almost infinite airspace, I agree with you there.

I can agree with that. It further incentivizes teammates (or the pilot) to take a repair tool and do it the old-fashion way.
