Boris turret is useless.
Boris turret is pointless. It takes an eternity to start shooting yet stops almost instantly. If about as durable as a paper bag in a lite shower of rain. A mean what’s the point in playing him?? Oh ...

It's insane you are complaining the game is ''dull'' because you can't just press a button and have the game literally do the job for you
Also insane that you complain about a solo centered game when you want to literally solo hold lanes with a turret doing most of the work
It’s not lost on me that a turret is essentially a more solo type tool.
in which case it shouldn’t be in the game at all, like wise the robo-dog.
But they are and as such they should be effective at something rather than nothing which they currently are.I don’t agree with this sentiment that these tools are doing your job for you. That’s just wrong imho. And like I said there should be counters, to unlock any avenues that have been secured, for either you or your team.
Also, there are many reasons the games dull not just the fact the turret is literally pointless.
Of course early on there were issues with too many turrets and that would become an issue again. But that could be countered by proximity limits to other turrets and limited turrets per squad.
if we have turrets they should do something, I’ve seen so many people moan because it’s not a person or that it doesn’t take skill. All I can say to those players, is well tough, it’s a legitimate part of the game.
No just because it's in the game doesn't mean it should be powerful if it's detrimental to the gameplay which a turret 100% is, same with the ranger
The turret already does enough by being an all-seeing always watching spotting machine, asking for the turret to be deadly on top of that is 100% asking the game to do work for you
If the turret makes it easy to get at minimum a 1 on 1 trade every bot is gonna use it and it's gonna be miserable for anyone who just wants to play a game without having to worry about an all seeing aimbot on a timer which is the majority of people
But hey we'll just have to wait for people to lose their * again for it to be nerfed again

I agree, the all seeing feature of the turret is stupid.
id be happy if it’s range and angle of attack was limited, broader angle of attack at expense of speed/targeting.
narrower angle of attack, faster targeting.
longer range at lower of power. Shorter range, more powerful. Could also combine rate of fire, vs power vs target speed. Perhaps only configurable in main menu.
or, just get rid completely. Either way, at the moment. It’s worthless.

Imo the way to go is to remove it or rework it so it's not an all-seeing aimbot because as of right now the turret is just a crutch, a bad one because of the delay but still
It's additional HP, damage and information that requires no input from the player
It's almost like adding an full blown AI soldier, one that doesn't move but is aware of everything it sees in a 65m radius and doesn't miss
If the problem people have is the mastery they should just change the requirement, not break the game so people can get achievements lol
