Boris turret is pointless. It takes an eternity to start shooting yet stops almost instantly. If about as durable as a paper bag in a lite shower of rain. A mean what’s the point in playing him?? Oh no wait you’ve forced us to use either him or crawford awful mini gun turret to complete a weekly mission. Just pointless.

Boris, without turret, how are we going to get moose and squirrel?
Is the turret useless? Maybe or maybe not it seems based upon the user and the usage. Either way it shouldn't stop a soldier from lifting their rifle and shooting the opposition.
Don't put a trophy in the game for getting 2500 damage in a round with the turret and then nerf its ability to do damage shortly after the game is released.
I forget though that developer support for this series is all about catering to the whiners. That is why we can't have 128 player breakthrough or a Boris turret that actually does what it is supposed to do.
If your going to have a turret in a game, it should be like the turrets from Aliens.

Yeah it's a squad based game yet you want to literally need no one to watch your flank or back you up, you want the game to do that by itself. Softening enemies for you and putting them directly into your mouth like a literal baby

No where did I say I'm getting wrecked by turrets
Turrets on their own are and always will be nothing else than an annoyance unless the devs are dumb
It starts being really annoying when there are people next to the turret, for now it's manageable since there's a long enough delay to kill a player and the turret before taking damage but if that is no longer the case after the buff the turret will become the ultimate crutch
Maybe you stop relying on the game holding your hand and get good
No Mortars
No Claymores
Useless turret
No suppression
SMGs that are on the whole, better than any other class of weapons.
All so that the cryhard headless chickens can tryhard and boast about their epeens whilst turning the game into Team Death Match Conquest Large.
They have successfully sucked a lot of fun out of the game.....
