Free speech shouldn't give people free reign to be immature idiots that spoil the enjoyment of the majority.

I can type on this forum because I (mostly) abide by the rules set. This is not an 'open forum' where you are free to be a racist, sexist (add any other 'ist' you want) bigot.
This is not 'undermining free speech', this is not being an ignorant idiot.
Being immature is not something to be proud of...... - ragnarok0134 years agoHero+

@Trokey66 Actually, that's exactly what free speech entitles, with free speech I'm allowed to say whatever immature things i want, and receive what ever consequence comes from my action. Do not ever undermine free speech again, it's the only reason you're allowed to even type on this thread.@IllNacs This is a private forum run by a Publicly Traded Company and not a Nation State so Free Speech does not factor into the discussion or moderation of content or speech. Your speech here on the forums and in game (chat or emblems) are dictated by the EA Terms of Service that you agreed to when you signed up for your Origin account as well as the Forum rules.

@IllNacsAnd even if we remove the obvious pitfall in your argument that two people have pointed out already (that you're on a private forum at the moment with it's own rules), free speech isn't, and never was.
The definition you use is for "freedom", not "freedom of speech".
(as in, action and consequence), and no country/society is "free", we've always had rules to get along in societies for a reason, across the planet as far back as recorded history.
I'm going to assume you're from the US based on that take on free speech, so i'll focus on that for now.
Ironically, some of the limits of free speech in the US is false statement of fact/slander/libel, and you know what, i think i'll just leave that there.(oh yea, and obscenity)
