Hello - Clan AOD Chiming in here. AOD has run platoons in Battlefield since...well, since we were able to run them. We have 9 verified platoons in the Battlefield1 / V system and were very much looking forward to seeing the changes to platoons in Battlefield 2042. Well, there aren't any platoons in Battlefield 2042 and it has put over 500 of your players on PC in a situation where we can't represent to the Best Community in the World who we are with our Clan Tags.
Clan AOD is about fair play and it is an honor clan. The reason why we have continued to thrive in Battlefield while many other communities have fallen away as more and more clan tools get cut is the way we carry ourselves in game. We don't team stack, we move from side to side in public servers to balance them out and we do not under any circumstances tolerate cheating or toxicity whatsoever. People see that in us and they see those [AOD] tags and they join us for that experience. AOD is about chill gaming with your friends without fear of judgement of who you are in your real life or how good or bad you are at games. We help each out and we prop each other up. We are now in a situation where we no longer have a way to show the Battlefield world who we are and what we are about. We are all now nameless entities in rando servers. DICE, please bring a platoons system into Battlefield 2042 - give your micro communities a way to show players who they are and what they stand for. Every Battlefield game, a chunk of Battlefield's community minded soul gets taken away, but it is not too late to reverse this. Please bring a robust platoon system into Battlefield 2042.

EDIT: Don't get me wrong: BF 2042 is the best experience Ive ever had since BF Vietnam, BF2,BC2,BF3 &4 - Your game is GREAT DICE! I'm enjoying it and all my old guys: me 44 and the oldest is by now 70 are back playing!!

I sincerely hope EA & DICE hears us and cares about us. Communities in this game series are critical to the games long-term health and player base. Clan Tags and Platoons are critical to communities.
Please add this , or migrate the same platoons from BFV.

Platoons are great. It gives us team-based players an identity. I know when I see other platoons in the same game that there is good competition to be had. I could go on, but others here have said it better already. Hopefully they give us something.
