Not without any progression, unlocks or XP no. And we still don't have tags there either. And if all platoons move to portal permanently a significant chunk of the player base will be missing from main game. And with the player base already split across generations and 3 game modes that's not really a good thing to push us all permanently away from main game.
Of course we can. Now XP is coming back. However we have no means to recruit anymore. No home to recruit to. No method of growth anymore, no identification. Nothing. And if you send all clans packing to portal, it's a large percentage of gamers moving out of the main game.
