@Godzilla_Lin23I wont lie, I started playing BF in BF3 and that was so long ago that I barely remember the mechanics. BF 1 and BFV have two VERY different recoil mechanics. BF1 continued with similar mechanics to BF4 while they finally implemented proper non random recoil in BF5, there's no reason they should go back to anything that resembles BF4 or BF1.
I cant say the same for previous games, but most games of that time used random patterns, so I hope they don't go back to that as it puts an artificial skill cap on the game due to even the most refined accurate player still being subject to RNG in where the bullets actually go compared to where you're aiming.

@Neovisi0n BFV had random recoil and it was increased in the last TTK-adjustment.
But BFVs gunplay is way better than BF1/BF4. Even though BFV has some randomness, the way RBD worked in BF1 and BF4 was so awful and unintuitive. BAs bullet speed in BF4 was also comical and they felt like shooting paint-guns, more than shooting a powerful rifle, again a bad solution to balance.
Some people say BF4/BF1 has more skill-full gunplay, but in my book, the "skills" needed for BF4/BF1 were stupid. Your bullets must always go where the gun points.
