Buying battle pass with points but getting ultimate
If I buy the year 1 pass after I bought the current battle pass with the points do I get my points refunded for future purchases?

My understanding -- They bought the current season pass with battlecoins. If they buy the year 1 pass do those coins get refunded, or not? Frankly at this point it makes no sense to buy a year one pass when more than half of it is gone and the first two seasons content is entirely gone.
I saw the upgrade to definitive edition have a discount, was searching for an answer if I can access previous seasons if I buy it now... I have my answer, doesn't make sense why the battlepass expires, one thing that halo infinite is doing well is that you can choose what battlepass progress, including previous season.
