this is from a player being sneaky and placing C5 on the drone and getting you fair and square haha. the drones themselves will not blow up enemy vehicles. but with the tactic of placing C5 on them and then flying them over they can. I feel this should be allowed in the game because it is indeed not that easy to pull off and the vehicles can just as easily drive away and are very hard to catch with a drone.
They can explode by themselves, I literally just got exploded once again.

Sometimes I get the message that I was killed by drone and sometimes by c5, so maybe drone can really kill vehicle by itself.
FYI-
If you explode the c4 on the drone, it counts as a C4 kill. If you have C4 on the drone and ram it into a vehicle, it shows as a DVP drone kill.
Try not to be biassed because it is happening to you. It kept happening to me, so I started to do it to other people. It is very satisfying! I’ve even used it on groups of 6 - 7 infantry when I can find them.It’s part of the game.
