Community ManagerDo you all see people using this C5 drone technique a lot? I haven't seen it myself, or at least I haven't noticed. I can see it being a little more overpowered for a mode like Hazard Zone since lives are limited.
75% or more of my deaths are from C5 drones when in a tank and a lot of it has to do with how tanks are designed and all the issues, for a complete list of issues see this link
Anyway C5 drone isn't original, this existed in BF3 with the MAV and C4 which was swiftly removed because of how broken it is, however it's worse for tanks in 2042 due to drones being smaller, debris in the air, acceleration speed in tanks, turret speed etc etc you don't have any effective counterplay to the drone, while there also being zero risk to the person using the drone.
Really need to stop with gadgets or mechanics that allow kill threat onto enemy players while having no kill threat on you (mortar, ucav etc etc)
C5 itself is also thrown too far and too fast for tanks, add in the easily achievable verticality (mckay, sundance, ziplines) and any specialist can run C5 is a recipe for disaster. Not to mention you only require 2 C5 to even kill a tank. "Oh but a tank can have a spotter or multiple passengers" - yeah this is irrelevant because you can come vertically to drop C5 and the passengers also have no way to quickly communicate with the tank driver.
