Can I play the $70 version of battlefield 2042 on Xbox one? When I look at the Xbox store and look at Battlefield 2042 Xbox Series X|S it says that it has support for Xbox one and series X. I’m planning to get a series X for Christmas but I want to play battlefield 2042 in the meantime.

You will need to order the Gold or Ultimate Edition of Battlefield 2042 in order to include the “Cross-gen Bundle”. This gives you two copies of the game: one for the Xbox One and the other for the XBox Series S/X.
This also includes the cross-progression feature so that your progress on one platform will carry over to the other.

Its awful EA is hiding their cross gen bundle within their gold edition while others are doing it at the base price... Like the next gen tax is already bad :P
