@VOLBANKER_PCnot true.
1. Could be done with class how? Without gadget freeing up too will just prove my point 2 more.
2. That is a big NO. As I said the 4 class system fails big time. It current allows 1 class to dominate.
3. Tell us how you would distribute.
4. Go on which of the 4 should have skis or NVG without making my point 2 even stronger.
You mean paratrooper and where are they?
@DingoKillrit only allows one class to dominate in BF1 and 5. In previous entries it was much more balanced whether it was the 4 classes of most Battlefield titles or the 7 classes of BF2. Even in BF3 when people whined about the M16A3 assault only had the best AR but couldn't kill vehicles like in BF1 or 5 when "Action man" ruled the Battlefield and medics were few and far between.
That is my point 2. Player flocked to a single class this caused issue. Be it Anti-Vehicle or Medic it meant other roles become secondary.
I remember maps in BF3/4 with vehicles with very few Engineers. This was caused by limited weapon choice(including admin restricted DMR) and vehicles not requiring repairs. So vehicles dominated more then they should. BF5 setting and changes allowed for greater variance to occur but supply depot and the best weapon and gadgets in a single class, it easy to see what was going to happen. BF1 mode and maps meant short range and explosive was the meta choice on many maps.
Look at what the complaints was about the most in past BF.
- Lack of ammo which I see happening again because people are believe any Specialist + RPG is going to be the Meta.
- Spotting this is balance to much or to little depends on the player.
- Repair tools always seem to be placed on the lesser played class.
- Revive long term issues BF3/4/1 all seem to be based on too busy fighting. Note less played BF1 medic so even a few fighting had bigger impact on revive. BF5 seem to be a case of wrong weapons meta and slow squad revive. Based on comments in this thread it going to be the lack of 100% revive. Mind you I have yet to hear of a universal heal gadget so it might make a even bigger impact.
