Can Xbox one X | s and PS4 join the 128 person battlefield?

I know that on the platform of Xbox series X | S and PS5, 128 person battlefield can be perfectly realized. However, in view of the low installation probability of Xbox series X | S and PS5, most users of Xbox one X | S and PS4 (including many of my friends who are also using Xbox one X | S and PS4) can only play 64 person battlefield, It is bound to have a great impact on the game experience of battlefield 2046. So of course, I hope that Xbox one X|S and PS4 can also join the 128 people's Congress battlefield, even if only Xbox oen X or PS4 pro, though it is unlikely to be realized

Older consoles don’t have the cpu power to do 128 player games.

@HiSevenEightNine They have removed crossplay as a feature from all store fronts, so I don't think it's happening. The company is being very weird about it.

@HiSevenEightNine If anything, I think what will happen is PS5/Series X players will be able to join a 64 player PS4/Xbox One match. They'll have the 64 player versions of the maps.

I don't think they'll have an issue filling up servers on PS5 or Series X. They've still sold millions and 128 player BF2042 represents the first true next gen multiplayer experience. It's certain to be a top seller on the new consoles.

I this is the answer, even if the Pro/X versions of last gen could reach it with stuff cut out, you end up with a dogs dinner.

@ArchAngeL-PCX LOL Thats Scalpers that bought those millions, and they are sitting on majority of those "Millions of next gen consoles" that were sold.
